So I went and got my DVD-RW back from the service center and guess what, they have given me a replacement model, but this one is better than the one I had! My previous drive was a single layer DVD-RW writing at 12x for DVD+R and 8x for DVD-R. Well this new one is a Teac DV-W516GB which does dual layer for DVD+R at 4x and single layer DVD+R at 16x!
Great! I will now fit it to my machine and make sure it all works OK!
