Novell have shipped Release Candidate 1 (RC1) of openSUSE 10.2 (codename Basilisk Lizard).
RC1 is intended to help spot any "shipment blockers" and will be the last development build before v10.2 of the Linux distro hits the streets in its final version in early December.
New things in 10.2 include:
- New Software Management Tools: zypper and opensuseupdater
- Switch from Firefox version 1.5 to version 2
- New wodim Package to Write Optical Disk Media (CD-ROM/DVD)
